Lifeguard must be to perform lifeguard surveillance of the Aquatics Center. Assist in the daily operations of lifeguarding, pump rooms, chemical testing, pool maintenance, inventory, and assist with training future employees. May also assist in the operations of Fitness and Spa operations if needed.

Pay: $10.00 / hour

Requirements

  • Must be current with American Red Cross Lifeguard & First Aid Certification.
  • Having a Water Safety Instructor Certification is necessary to perform Swim Lessons.
  • Become familiar will all Aquatics Center Rules and Regulations. Know the Fitness Department
    policies and procedures and become thoroughly familiar with all member and guest guidelines.
  • Ability to ensure the safety and well being of members and their guests as well as the daily
    supervision of all bodies of water.
  • Assist in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the Aquatics Center.
  • Carries out the duties, direction, and assignment as requested by the Assistant Director, Aquatics
    Coordinator and Head Lifeguard.
  • Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Maintain the inventory of all first aid stations in Fitness Department weekly to ensure first aid
    supplies are well stocked.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a healthy sense of humor.
  • Assume any other responsibilities as directed by the Aquatics Coordinator.
